大阪河内の古市古墳群に属する野中古墳の充実した出土資料を紹介した　『野中古墳と「倭の五王」の時代』（大阪大学総合学術博物館叢書10、大阪大学出版会、2014年）の英語版。海外在住の考古学研究者、日本の歴史文化に関心のある読者に向け、待望の翻訳刊行。資料のうち11領の鉄製甲冑は、１古墳からの出土数としては日本でも傑出しており、襟付短甲と呼ばれる王権を代表する象徴的な甲冑も含む。
